Handwoven Halloween Cat Collar - black and orange pickup
Handwoven in soft and durable 100% cotton, this cat collar is both safe and comfortable for your kitty to wear all the time! This orange and black diamond pattern is perfect for spooky season or all year round!
This adjustable collar fits most cats, ranging from approximately 8-13 inches, and features an adorable cat-shaped plastic clasp that can break open for safety to protect your cat in an emergency. The metal D-ring allows you to attach a charm, bell, or tag to customize the collar and help identify your cat. My own cat has been earing his handwoven collar for years!
You can add a bell to the collar for one dollar more. The bells are random colors, but I’ll try to pick one that coordinates.
The premium diamond pattern is obtained with a technique called “pickup” weaving on an inkle loom. Pickup weaving requires more skill and time than plainweave on the inkle loom, which is why this collar is priced slightly higher than my other collars—pickup weaving requires not only warping the loom and weaving skillfully, but also requires the weaver to individually select and either pick up or press down threads to vary the pattern with each pass. It’s a little more time-consuming, but the result is beautiful and really shows off the full range of the inkle loom’s abilities!
