This rectangular pendant features a two-inch strip of handwoven cotton, framed in a metal backing with a resin front that gives the whole thing a glassy look and magnifies the texture of the weaving for a unique piece of jewelry that can be worn every day.
Each pendant comes with an adjustable 24-inch ready-to-wear waxed cotton cord necklace, although the pendant could be easily put on any chain or cord you like.
The necklace showcases one of my inkle loom patterns, which feature the special capabilities of a warp-facing weave. I design each weave inspired by a lifetime of experience with the inkle loom and its basic figures and abilities. I love playing with geometric patterns and color combinations, and these necklaces showcase that art perfectly. You will probably even find other matching accessories for you or your cat in the shop, as I use each warp to make a variety of projects.
The pendant is approximately 2 inches long by 3/8 inches wide and the metal color varies by pattern. The necklace cord is color-coordinated to match the design of the pendant. See pattern variations below.
