Woven Earrings - Warp Ends (stiffened)
Unique earrings perfect for you or as a gift! These earrings feature handwoven bands from an inkle loom, woven in 100% cotton. They’re made out of the scraps from larger inkle loom projects, such as my cat collars. These are great for casual wear. You can even buy a matching cat collar if you want!
These mermaid-tail earrings are made from the ends of the warps, so I can only make one set for each time I weave a design. I made them to highlight how the weaving looks to me, how the different warp threads come together to make a design. I finish them with a dishwasher-safe Modge-Podge so that they can be gently washed and they hold their shape as if frozen in time. I then use a ribbon crimp to turn them into earrings.
These earrings will look breezy and casual with a boho, natural style that still glints in the light. You’ll love how the design highlights the woven texture that makes the core attraction of these earrings!
The hooks are nickel-free steel.
